Description: 
Three-quarter portrait of woman (possibly of Lake or Canfield families). She wears a dark dress, white shirt sleeves, white lace collar with collar pin, dark wrist bands. Matte is brass non-pareil design. Preserver is stamped brass. Case lining opposite is velvet cut in scroll work. Case is black gutta percha with scroll, leaf and geometric designs on front and same on back. One central clasp.
