Description: 
3/4 portrait of two young women seated with linked arms. Woman on left wears a dark plaid dress with a white lace collar and cuffs. She wears a ring and a pin at her neck which have been painted gold. Woman on right wears a dress trimmed with plaid ribbon with lace collar and cuffs. She wears a pin at her collar and two rings that have been tinted gold and a chain around her neck, and a belt at her waist with a buckle. Case lining opposite is red velvet stamped with flowers and scroll work. Case is brown gutta percha with lilies in frame and leaves, Same design front and back. 2 clasps.
